I am a founding member of Scottish Epistemology Early Career Researchers (SEECRs), a network of early career and postgraduate epistemologists based in, or with research links to, Scotland. Our aims are to support the development of a community of early career epistemologists across Scotland; to foster collaboration between researchers at different universities; and to create opportunities for early career epistemologists to share and receive feedback on their work.
Founded in 2021, SEECRs now has over 50 members based across six universities (Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, St Andrews and Stirling). We have organised two workshops, one at the University of Edinburgh in August 2022, and the other at the University of St Andrews in in August 2023. In May 2023, we held the First Scottish Graduate Conference in Applied Epistemology at the University of Glasgow.
During term time, we run a fortnightly work-in-progress group on Fridays, 13:00-14:45 GMT, online. If you are interested in joining the mailing list, please email us at scottishepistemologyecrs@gmail.com.
