Lilith Mace

Hello! I'm Lilith, a philosopher based in Glasgow. Thanks for visiting my site.

I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow on the ERC-funded project KnowledgeLab: Knowledge-First Social Epistemology (PI: Mona Simion), and a Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Glasgow.

From September 2025, I will be taking up a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship and a Lord Kelvin/Adam Smith Leadership Fellowship at the University of Glasgow, working on a project on the normativity of doubt.

My name used to be 'Lilith Newton', and you may know me as such.
